The precincts of the convention centre has a temple of Lord Ganesh, the Lord who is known to clear obstacles and is highly revered in any Hindu religious function. A priest is present in the temple full-time and Pooja is conducted in the temple daily.
Spread across 5,430 sq.ft. The main hall houses the center stage – the hub of activity of most events. Fully air conditioned, the main hall has a seating capacity for 750 guests and is tastefully decorated with beautiful paintings on the walls. On either side of the stage are 2 air conditioned rooms usually used by the families of the bride and groom in the case of a wedding.
The dining hall is located to the left of the main hall. Measuring 4380 sq.ft., this air conditioned hall has a seating capacity for 450 guests. Adjacent to the dining hall is a well-outfitted washroom of area 1,000 sq.ft.
The centre has 7 rooms, located to the right side of the hall. These rooms are spacious and comfortable for guests staying at the centre.
Thoughtfully designed, the Kitchen covers an area of 2,050 sq.ft. and is equipped with ultra modern appliances and central exhaust system that keeps the entire environment clean and soot free. The kitchen has ten burners, four direct steam injection vessels and various other appliances ensuring it is adequate to prepare food for 2500 guests. The kitchen is provided with sufficient storage space and a separate room used to prepare special savouries/ dishes.
Considering the density of traffic in the city, car parking is critical to both the hosts and guests. The convention centre is sensitive to this aspect and provides ample parking space for cars and two wheelers. 50 cars and 100 two wheelers can be parked within the property and the space is provided with adequate security.
